"How was your day today? " "I wish to talk to you, forever." "I could not wait to hear you." Forgotten phrases popped out of  the chat history. Her screen flickered a bit. Oh they were just tears.. "It is over."  He had typed last.

She screamed... but he would not stop.. She pleaded... but he would not stop... The hoarse cries grew faint..  Exhausted he finally stepped back... An elegant angel stared back at him. Inked on her pale skin; the tattoo would bewitch many!!!

She fiddled with her keys, hastily closed the door and sprinted down the lane to catch her bus. But never would she forget to catch a glimpse of him. Across the street he read the morning paper as usual and looked out to the busy Brooklyn street distracted. A floor below, another pair of haunting eyes followed her as she weaved her way through the walkways. One day he would ask her out..

She let him go each time... He let her come each time... She walked off to never return... He followed her wherever she went.. One day he had to walk her down the aisle....

He loved her fragrance... She loved his caresses... The screen flickered.. "Skype will reconnect in some time".

She kept staring at the status to turn "Online"... It never did! He whispered "I love you" to her and they kissed...  He forgot to check his phone.

She smiled at him. Her eyes twinkled. He was happy to see her again. But her heart crawled back to the lonely hideout where he had left her. Numb and cold; calm and serene - she knew better this time!
