Into and away....!

I was a dandelion in the storm. When the winds grew moodier, And the clouds turned darker; I held on tighter and tighter. I was a dandelion in the storm. When the hands grabbed me harsher, And the kicks turned harder; I held on stronger and stronger. I was a dandelion in the storm. When the moonlight shone brighter, And the children held me tender; I could finally let go....!!!

On a dream less night...

Under the moonless night, in the company of a zillion stars; I sit and smile amidst the soaring sounds; the waves still roar... but I hear no more; the winds still blow... but I shiver no more. Around I see tears of water and laughs of ice; humans are dry and demons are nice. The sky grumbles and darkens; the thunder rumbles and hastens. Then the drops fall....

Seek to bleed? :-)

For you seek not, the other souls on the cobbled path; For you seek not, the whispers of sweet nothings; For you seek not, the fascinating delicate caresses; For you seek not, the warm cupping around your sore face; For you seek not, the deep stare into your weary eyes; For you seek not, the place to rest your heavy heart; For you seek not, the balmy touch over your throbbing head. For you know, there will not be one... And you knew that always.... But... You chose to seek your elixir in distant cauldrons; You chose to wait for the rains to cease; You chose to seek the ephemeral rainbows; You chose to wait for the unicorn to prance around.... The dagger that draws the blood out of you now... smiles... Your stifled chokes and muffled gasps thrill the spirit of the cold ‘Blade’... Trembling and quivering, when you pull it out from the insides; You notice your own castle of glass...... 😊

Bedtime story!

"And then we would open our lunch boxes and fight our way into it. A bunch of hungry kids, never dined fine, you see." - his eyes sparkled as he continued to reminisce his childhood. Sprawled on the bed lazily, he sifted through his memories and babbled on. She noticed the slight quiver in his excited voice now and then. Eager subtle tremors ran down his fingers which lay cupped in her hands. His smooth skin shone in the incandescent light and his voice floated around the dimly lit room. She looked lovingly at him, as he tossed and belched out memories. "How simple was his life and its string of daily boulders. Tiny obstacles, unsettling moments and euphoric accomplishments; yet so extraordinarily ordinary. He seemed to have lived each moment and enjoyed his ride deeply along with the bumps." As she turned to look for her phone; her reflection caught her eye. She looked into her own eyes, her wounds stared back at her, restless to open up any moment. How dark an

Eyes on Moon...

The dial sprung to life and chimed lazily, 2AM. Brooding flimsy stratus clouds flew past the waxing gibbous moon... Unhurried pensive breeze tickled the sleepy trees on its way, As the demure moon played peek-a-boo behind the mischievous leaves. They sat  by the side of the road, Loaded trucks heaved, panted and wheezed past nearby; But a cloak of silence engulfed them warmly... “I hate being touched.” - she says tersely. “You have never been...” - he smiles. Cackle of laughter erupts somewhere from afar and fades... A lanky boy with a toothy grin, serves them hot tea... Mystifying fumes of the amber brown drink rise and waft around... The two innocuous sets of eyes had already merged into the Moon…!!!

Raincoat! ...Part 1

As she sifted through her bag hastily, a crumpled old handwritten note fell out. Though the ink had blurred at places one could make out the scrawl was shaky.   ... ... she looked around the room, closed her eyes and tore the paper into pieces. Before anyone else could notice, she threw the pieces out of the window and felt relaxed. It was raining outside !!! The cold misty breeze wrapped around her like a comforting cloak; still dewy eyed she peered into the quiet lane outside. As the quiet neighborhood got swept by thoughtful strokes of brooding Rain; its primly manicured bushes looked bright green again. Morris, the community tabby cat looked worried and morose. Perched at the opposite house's narrow rickety stairs; it awaited sullenly for the downpour to cease. Apparently it never grew fond of the wetness that was to follow. Scouring through the bins for scrumptious leftovers and jumping atop walls would no longer be a cat's walk today. It was almost noon, her fran

Naively yours!

Blinded by the light; she ran into the outstretched arms of Darkness... Seared by the warmth; his frosty caresses soothed her... Just when he thought he had her; the blade dug in deep. As the blood trickled down quietly, he looked at her aghast.. She smiled back serenely,  but revenge twinkled in her naive eyes...
